Matheus Fernandes de Souza is an attorney at law in the Life Sciences department at KVTS. Mr. Souza has acted since 2020 in regulatory and corporate matters involving public and private Health, agricultural, professional councils and healthcare insurance operator, as well as administrative health regulatory proceedings before ANVISA (Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency), CMED (Brazilian Drug Market Regulation Chamber), CONITEC (Brazilian Committee for Health Technology Incorporation), ANS (Brazilian Supplementary Health Agency) and MAPA (Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture
and Livestock).
Mr. Souza has experience in representing national and international clients from the industries of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, cosmetics, tobacco, food, feed, pesticides and chemical products. Mr. Souza also has practice experience in matters involving the licensing and registration of products subject to health surveillance, new technologies, drugs pricing registration and defense/review, launch of new products in the Brazilian market and products recall.
